July 2022- July 2024: Co-PI in the African Peace-building Network (APN) 2022 Collaborative Working Group Research Fellowship by the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) with Prof. Gilbert Ouma as PI. Collaborative project titled: ‘Let’s Do It Together: Rethinking Gender in the Mediation and Resolution of Natural Resource Conflicts in a Changing Climate in East Africa’ brings together researchers from Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia and South Sudan. Feb 2019- July 2021: Lead researcher (Co-PI) in Kenya in the University of Leeds, University of Nairobi and University of Ghana GCRF collaborative research award with Chris Paterson (PI) University of Leeds on Information in Climate Change Adaptation in rural Kenya and Ghana (Grant amount £300,000). October 2018-January 2019: Consultant for Article 19 East Africa to write a guide book on Debunking disinformation, Misinformation and Propaganda: A Training guidebook for Journalists in Kenya. (Amount $15,000). Status: Successfully completed and submitted.
June 2015- January 2017: Lead Researcher in Kenya in EU funded project (MeCoDEM- Baseline survey on Media and Democratization Conflicts in transitional democracies focusing on Kenya, South Africa, Egypt and Serbia in collaboration with the University of Oxford, UK.
